Library
Our library is a welcoming community space with a generous collection of curated middle-grade, young adult, and picture books. Students are also welcome to play board games, enjoy card games, color mandalas, draw, write, put together puzzles, or engage with monthly programming. Staffed by a teacher librarian and library assistants who are happy to support all patrons, the library provides access to a variety of print and digital fiction and nonfiction, as well as a rich collection of graphic novels and manga. Additionally, all community members have access to the Library Catalog, which provides access to all online resources and databases that enrich research and reading for pleasure! Students are encouraged to visit the library during the school day at any time, as well as before and after school.
Hours: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Borrowing: Students may borrow any number of library books for two weeks. Book Club books may be kept for three weeks and renewals are possible for any book that is needed for a longer period of time.
End-of-Year Procedures: All library materials will be due at the end of the school year. Students with an overdue record will not receive their yearbooks or be able to check out books for the summer. Summer checkouts take place during the last two weeks of school for those with current library accounts and will be due at the start of the following school year.

IT Help Center (2nd floor next to the Library)
Our IT team is here to help you. The help center has loaner Macbooks and chargers. The help center can also assist you with resetting passwords or accessing digital subscriptions.
Dragon Shop (High School Commons Area)
The HKIS Booster Club operates the Dragon Shop with the help of many parent volunteers. All profits generated from the Dragon Shop are donated back to the school community in the form of allocations, team travel kits, sport banquets, and divisional spirit events.
The Booster Club’s Dragon Shop is the official school store that sells HKIS approved uniforms, PE uniforms, a wide variety of HKIS logo apparel and many other HKIS themed gift items. In addition, the shop stocks a generous selection of school supplies.
