Creative Computing

Half year (1 semester)

Creative Computing is a project-based course in which any student can learn to apply computing and computational thinking through personally meaningful projects. Computers are all around us - in our homes, pockets, and even our household appliances! In this course, we will explore how they’re used every day and learn how we can use them for good. Creative Computing is designed to develop critical minds, collaborative attitudes, and personal resiliency as students determine and pursue personal goals to create projects and products that make a difference. The course explores block-based and text-based coding as well as Computer-Aided Design (CAD), physical computing and artificial intelligence, culminating in an independent project where students use their skills to make their world a better place.
