Enter the world of theatre via triple threat--acting, singing and dancing, as students prepare to perform in the Middle School musical.
Students will:

Develop essential storytelling skills through acting
Build their confidence as theatrical singers
Explore movement, blocking, and dance set to a musical piece
Create original staging and characterization for a musical scene
Contribute as an active member of a collaborative ensemble with the goal of performing the Middle School Musical

This course can be taken in both grades 7 and 8, as the units of this course are modified each year.
The production in May is an integral part of the class, and participation includes some extra-curricular rehearsals and evening performances.
