Grade 8 Social Studies is an inquiry-based interdisciplinary subject that draws upon the concepts in geography, economics, history, and civics. This course fosters students’ understanding of, and involvement in, practical and ethical issues that face the local community and the wider world. Students develop their inquiry, research, and communication skills, while also learning how to take meaningful action in order to impact change.
Students will:
