Full year
The Grade 7 Physical Education program builds upon the foundational skills developed in Grade 6, with a continued focus on movement competence, game strategies, fitness development, and personal and social responsibility. Aligned with the four SHAPE standards, students refine their skills and apply them in more dynamic settings. Using the “we” lens, students begin to recognize the importance of collaboration, communication, and teamwork in both individual and group activities.
Throughout the year, students engage in a variety of movement activities such as table tennis, Australian rules football, outdoor adventure, and fitness training. They develop strategic thinking, improve their consistency in movement execution, and take on leadership roles within their teams. Emphasis is placed on cooperation, sportsmanship, and contributing positively to group success. By fostering an awareness of how their actions impact others, our Grade 7 PE program helps students build the skills necessary for effective teamwork and shared success in physical activity.
